White Sox On Top Again, Still Unbeaten!

Week 9 saw the White Sox beating the Brewers 11-1.
This game again saw the Sox put up runs early and often, and has the case has been, flashed some great defense throughout the game. In the bottom of the first, Mike Howarth, playing CF for the first time this year, made an outstanding diving catch on a sinking line drive.  The Sox jumped ahead in the top of the second 2-0 on a two RBI single by Ryan Budgell.  The Sox got 3 more in the 4th and 5th and went on to win 11-1.  Ronnie Mitchell pitched the first 6 innings, not allowing a run on 5 hits and Mike Howarth pitched the final three innings earning his first career save.  The White Sox are now 7-0-1, with a run differential of 91-34, a plus/minus of 57!  Through the first 8 games the Sox are scoring over 11 runs per game, while only allowing a little more than 4.
Next up for the Sox are the Diamondbacks, who at 6-2 are in second, 1.5 games behind the White Sox.

The stars of the game were:

Tony Hernandez, who went 3-3 with a 2B, SB and was on base all five times(2 walks).
Aric Graham, who was 3-4 with 3 runs scored and an RBI.
Ryan Budgell, who was 3-5 with 3 RBIs and a SB.
And Rob Cochran, who was also 3-5 with 2 runs scored and an RBI.
Mike Howarth, who went 1-5, with 3RBIs, 3 innings of 1 hit relief and that outstanding diving catch that we regret not having a photo of, FUCK!

Hopfully these flashes of leather make up for it!
