Game 4 of the season saw the White Sox at home against the D-Backs.

After allowing two hits in the top of the first, White Sox starter Ron Mitchell worked out of trouble with some defensive help from SS Jay Dyer, who made a great play going to his right to save a run. The game ball went to Ron Mitchel, who scattered 6 hits over 7 shutout innings, walking one and striking out 6. It was Ron's 3rd complete game in as many starts, leading the league in complete games , innings pitched and wins. The White Sox finished the game with 17 hits, which was their 3rd straight game with at least 15 hits.

The Offensive stars where:

Devon Ramsey in the lead off spot, going 3-3 w/ 2 RBI, 2 runs scored and a sac fly, Corey Pouliot, who was also 3-3 with 4 runs scored and lastly Tony Hernandez, who two days prior passed a kidney stone, going 2-3 with 3 RBI's and caught the entire game in 85 degree heat.

The White Sox are currently in first place at 4-0, with 44 runs in those 4 Games, and have allowed only 17, for an average of 11 runs per game, and allowing only 4.2 runs per game. There plus/minus of +27 is by far best in the league.
